Happy Lammas August 1st 2011

 Lammas is the Celtic Christian celebration that celebrates the beginning of wheat harvest. Fresh baked bread made from the wheat harvest was brought to church for communion. They still have harvest festivals in Ireland and other European countries.

    I truly love that painting. My parents have a copy hanging in their house. And hurrah for christian celtic celebrations! =)
